Shark! (at the Barcelona Aquarium)

You probably don’t want to run into a shark like this when you are swimming.  But if you are at the Barcelona Aquarium, you’ll be just fine.

The shark was in a tank at the Barcelona Aquarium (L’Aquarium Barcelona).

That’s the place to be.  It is not a huge aquarium but makes for a good place to cool off after a summertime walk down La Ramblas and around the pier.

The Barcelona Aquarium is easy to get to.  Cross the street at the end of Las Ramblas, walk along the pier on Rambla de Mar, and then look for the aquarium on the other side of the Maremagnum shopping mall.
