Sunday afternoon in Spain's warm Canary Islands is a time to go to market...Teguise Market in Lanzarote, that is.  Teguise Market is the big Sunday market in Lanzarote and a good way to take a break from the beach.  Shop for unique clothing, arts and crafts surrounded by Lanzarote's old town of la Villa de Teguise. Watch a few street performers too.  The market runs from 9am to 2pm. Get there early.  Spend the day and a few euros.  Afterwards, have a meal at one of the many restaurants outlying the market.

Tourists should haggle here when shopping.  Simply find out the price the vendor is selling the item and then offer your best price.
